Does CMD allow me to send group text messages?

Answer:

Yes! Use the services of Twilio.com to set up an account and then provide CMD with your account info. Texts are about $0.0075/each so you can afford to send a lot of text messages! Great for reminding groups of upcoming events or meetings, or to touch base with important ministry leaders about an issue or a special need within your church. You can send texts to individuals or to any grouping of individuals that you can easily generate from within CMD. These groups are all based on any field or any combination of any field in your CMD data file. You can even personalize your messages with a greeting and the person’s first name.

Yes! You tell CMD about the particulars of your e-mail outgoing server and you can send e-mails to virtually any grouping of people in your data file.
