Following are bugs that were found and fixed for 2016.3:

Print Names

•The correct settings for the Destination choices were not always accurate based on the Output Form that was saved in the Parameters file.

•The line beside the Purpose of Visit field on the Family Visitation Card did not print.

•When Print First Name was the choice in the Name Formality dialog, the Goes By field would be printed instead. Conversely, when Goes By was selected for the Name Formality, the First Name would be printed.

Delete Names

•The fields for setting the archive leave reason and archive date would not correctly activate when selecting Delete or Archive & Delete as the option when coming in to the dialog.

New Features in 2016.3:

Print Names

•A new option was added under the Individual Name Output Form to allow you to print the list in either First Name or Goes By order, depending on your selection for Name Formality.

•Added a new postcard size: Avery #3381 or equivalent. Prints 4 postcards on a page as 4.5 x 5.5 inches.

•Church Directory options A, B, and C have been added, though Format B with Pictures does not yet work. You can add additional phone numbers, e-mail address, Parish Group, and Birthdays/Anniversary to each of these formats (not that you'd likely want all of them!).

•We modified a few of the choices for the Church Directory A, B, and C formats to be consolidated on a single dialog. The button no longer says Phone Setup or Phones/Dates. Instead now it says Directory Options.

•Added a new Church Directory Format called Roster for Staff Use. It's the last item in the Directory Format drop-down accessible when you select Church Directory as your Output Form. It's called . It's a compressed, limited-information page designed for staff members to print and keep in a notebook for quick reference when needed.

School Info. We have added this function now to the Tools Menu.

Christian Learning has been added as a function to the Tools Menu.

Name Search Functionality has been extended to (finally) use PgUp/PgDn and Ctrl-Home/Ctrl-End key combinations to work as expected. PgUp scrolls up one page of names, PgDn scrolls down one page of names, Ctrl-Home takes you to the top of the list, and Ctrl-End takes you to the very end of the list.

Contributions Export. I've added this export function to the Contributions Utilities Menu, which creates two ASCII text files of your contrib data - one as the "master" file (which can, optionally, contain names), and the other is the detail file that shows how the donations were split among various accounts. Both are CSV files.

Minor Tweaks:

Since we are still building out CMD in FMX, we are constantly making small changes and tweaking functions or the way dialogs look. Literally dozens of small tweaks that we didn't list in the items above have been made since 2016.2.

If you run across something that does not work the way you think it should or if a word is cut off on a dialog, or anything else that you feel is amiss, please let us know and we will take care of it. We are very pleased with the way the FMX version is coming together, but we also realize it's still a pretty new environment, and chances are good that there are a few things out there in the program that still need some attention. We gladly accept any feedback that will help us make CMD better!
