The Menu Selection Defaults tab page on the Local Preferences dialog allows you to determine the default values used for the various menu fields in the Individuals Data Area on the Enter/Modify/Delete Names dialog.

You can select any one menu item from any of the menus listed. All the menus with the exception of the Gender menu are fully user-definable. You may enter up to 300 choices for each menu, and you can select any of the choices that you define to be the default for any of the menus on this tab page.

Click the Edit Menus button to edit a menu.
