The Spiritual Care Provider field (SCP) allows you to assign names to any person who has been asked to provide spiritual oversight for a member of your congregation.

To select a Spiritual Care provider for a name on the Enter/Modify/Delete Names dialog, open the drop-down SCP list box and select the name from the list.

To modify the list, either use the Edit Menus/Pick Lists item on the Preferences Menu, or use the Spiritual Care Providers dialog.

Tie in to Visitation File

There is a special tie-in with this field when used with the Visitation Only user type defined on the User Administration dialog on the Preferences Menu.

If you wish, you may assign each person you designate as a Spiritual Care Provider a user name and password for a Visitation Only user type, and then when they access CMD, all they have access to is the Visitation dialog that will display for them only the names they've been assigned for whom to provide spiritual care. That way they can enter, print, and view visitation information themselves only for their list of names. This special user type does not all them access to any other part of CMD - just the Visitation dialog and only their assigned names will appear.
