The Marital Status field allows you to select a choice from among the user-defined list of up to 300 possible marital status choices CMD allows.

When you arrive at this field in Enter/Modify/Delete Names, the combo box listing the available choices will drop down enabling you to view the list. To select one, click on the choice with your mouse or move the highlight bar with the cursor keys and then press Enter. Press TAB to move to the next field.

To add to, delete from, or modify the choices on the Marital Status field, either select the Menu Items choice on the Preferences Menu, or double-click directly in the Marital Status field to bring up the edit menus dialog.Note that you can also define the default selection for this item by selecting the Menu Selection Defaults tab page of the General Preferences dialog.
