Calendars, using

CMD uses a pop-up calendar in most places in the CMD where dates are entered.

These pop-up calendars are generally accessed when you click the small calendar icon on the right edge of a calendar edit box. Use the calendar that pops up to select the date you need.

If you need to select a different month, you may either use the forward or backward scroll icons on the calendar header, or you may click directly on the month's name in the calendar header to pick the month from a list.

To select a different year, click directly on the year in the calendar header. This will pop-up a 30-year list of years along with a button that says "Edit Year." If the year you want is not on the list that is showing, click Edit Year and type in the year you wish to use.

Note that you cannot enter partial dates. If you need to enter a date for which you have only the month and year, select a specific year that you will remember as a year that serves only as a placeholder. We recommend using the year 1900.

This might be useful in those cases where a person does not wish to reveal their birth year but might be willing to provide the month and day. If you enter the year as 1900, of course any age calculations will be invalid. However, you can still print names based on the month of their birth for birthday lists, etc.
