Add Names to a Family Field

The Add Names to a Family Field dialog, available as an option on the Utilities Menu, allows you to quickly mark families for many of the fields in the Family Data area on the Enter/Modify/Delete Names dialog.
First, select the field you wish to work with by opening the combo box under the title Select Field. When you select a field, the combo box to its right will open and display the items associated with the field you selected. Select the specific Field Item with which you wish to associate family names. After the menu item is selected, a list of the family names currently marked for the selected menu item will be displayed. Use the Name Search tools provided to find and highlight additional family names to be added to the field item. Once a family name is highlighted, click the Add Family to List button or press Enter.
Continue adding family names as needed by highlighting the next family name and clicking Add Family Name to List or by pressing Enter. Once you are finished adding family names to the field item, either make another selection from the Select Field combo box, or click the Finished button if you are all through.

You can remove a family name from its association with any field item. To remove a family name, first click on the family name in the Current Names List, and then right click the mouse on that same family name. A pop-up dialog will ask you to confirm your decision to remove the associate of the family name with the field and menu item selected.
