CMD 2018.2 has a number of small bug fixes incorporated into it, and includes two brand-new features (in the FMX version only):

•Background Checks. Use this new feature to record when your volunteers have been cleared by a background check service. There's space to enter the name of the service, the date of the check, and the result of the check. You can print lists by SS class/department or more general lists. This feature is under the Tools Menu.

•Children's Check-In. You can now use CMD's new Children's Check-In/Out feature to check children in or out of their SS class/division or other activity. This will be useful only in those situations where you have a computer in the room where the activity is taking place. There are two items on the actual check-in dialog that are grayed out at this point: Print Name Tag, and Print Receipt. Both of these assume that there will be a Dymo LabelWriter in the room where you are doing the attendance. We also have the capability built-in to do some of this via bar code, but we were unsure how many of you would have bar code readers and printers in each room. We will add these features if we get feedback from you that you have (or will procure) these items and will be useful for you.
