The User 4 field is a menu of up to 300 possible choices, of which you may select one.

By default, the User 4 menu is defined for use to track Ethnicity, with a number of choices pre-defined for you. If you wish to retain the use of tracking Ethnicity with this field, you are still free to modify the menu choices to your liking by selecting the Menu Items option on the Preferences menu. You may also modify these choices by double-clicking directly in the User 4 field.

If you wish to rename this field for different use, select the User Field Names tab page on the General Preferences dialog, or right click on the field's label itself to bring up the User Field Names dialog.
